Replace the website your business has outgrown.

A business website replacement should keep the parts customers still need, leave outdated material behind and rebuild the route from first visit to contact around the business you run now.

Repair or replace?

Start with what the current site is stopping customers from doing.

An older design is not a reason to rebuild on its own. Replacement makes sense when the site no longer explains the business or supports the journey customers need.

Business fit

Your services or audience have changed

The website still describes an earlier version of the business, gives old priorities too much space or hides the work you now want customers to understand.

Mobile journey

Important actions are difficult on a phone

Navigation, service information or the contact route becomes difficult to read or reach on a smaller screen.

Content

Old and duplicated material causes doubt

Visitors encounter conflicting details, abandoned pages or messages that no longer match the service they are considering.

Confidence

The site weakens an otherwise credible business

Outdated information, unclear proof or broken customer journeys can make it harder for a visitor to decide whether to continue.

Management

Routine changes have become difficult

Updating essential business information takes too much effort, depends on an unavailable supplier or creates avoidable technical work.

Honest alternative

A focused repair may be enough

If the structure, content and technology still serve customers, a smaller piece of work may be more sensible than replacing the whole site.

Replacement decisions

Do not carry every old page into the new site.

A useful replacement gives accurate material a clear role, removes what no longer helps and identifies any public URLs or connected services that need special handling.

Retain

Keep what remains accurate and useful

Current service facts, rights-held photography, genuine credentials and approved proof can remain when they help a customer make a decision.

Improve

Rework the journey, not just the appearance

Navigation, page order and contact actions should follow the questions customers ask now. Copywriting and new design assets remain separately scoped when required.

Retire

Leave outdated or unsupported material behind

Duplicate pages, expired offers, old team details and claims without current evidence should not be copied simply because they already exist.

Redirect

Account for public URLs that change

Relevant old and new addresses need an agreed mapping when public URLs change. A larger redirect programme is migration work and may require a separate quote.

Choose the right boundary

A simple replacement can use the fixed offer. A larger migration needs its own scope.

The number of pages is only one part of the decision. Existing content, public URLs, connected services and required functionality determine whether the managed route fits.

Managed replacement

A focused site of up to five core pages

The fixed offer includes managed hosting, SSL, deployment, monitoring, the agreed lead-form path, technical SEO foundations and two scoped monthly change credits.

UK reference price: £499 setup plus £99 monthly. See the complete managed offer

Custom migration

A larger existing site or connected journey

Large content libraries, copywriting, ecommerce, booking, accounts, integrations, email dependencies and substantial redirect requirements are assessed separately.

Price and timing depend on the agreed work. Discuss a replacement

What happens next

Agree what changes before any production changeover.

The replacement direction comes first. Content, access, domain dependencies, exclusions and any migration work are agreed before the live boundary changes.

01

Review the current customer journey

Start with what customers see now, the services the business wants to prioritise and the main action the replacement should support.

02

See a private replacement direction

A private preview shows a proposed page structure and visual direction before purchase.

03

Agree the migration boundary

Confirm the core pages, reusable material, domain and email dependencies, changed URLs, exclusions and any separately quoted work.

04

Approve the launch boundary

After the site is approved, the agreed domain connection, deployment and managed-service steps can proceed.

Replacement questions

Make the practical risks visible before the site changes.

These answers separate the fixed Managed Website from migration work that may need its own scope.

Can the old website be repaired instead?

Yes. A business website can be repaired when its structure, content and technology still serve customers. Focused improvements may be more appropriate, and a replacement should not be recommended just because the visual design is old.

Can you reuse our existing text and images?

Accurate material that the business has the right to use can be considered for the replacement. Outdated, duplicated or unsupported material should be removed. Copywriting, photography and new graphic design are outside the fixed offer and quoted separately.

What happens to old page URLs?

During a website replacement, changed public URLs need an agreed mapping so relevant old addresses can redirect appropriately. A substantial URL inventory or redirect programme requires a separate scope outside the fixed five-page offer.

Do I keep my existing domain?

Yes. The customer owns the domain. Domain purchase and renewal charges remain separate from the Samsoom service.

Will changing the website affect business email?

Email hosting is outside the Managed Website scope. Any email or other service connected to the domain needs to be identified before DNS or domain settings change.

Will the replacement preserve our rankings and traffic?

No ranking or traffic outcome can be guaranteed. Search visibility can fluctuate when a site changes. Existing public URLs, content and available search evidence should inform the agreed migration boundary.

How much does a replacement website cost?

A replacement that fits the Managed Website scope has a UK reference price of £499 setup plus £99 per month, exclusive of any tax that may apply. Migration work and other requirements outside the fixed scope are quoted separately.

What if the current site has a shop, bookings or integrations?

Those functions need to be assessed rather than assumed to transfer. Ecommerce, advanced booking, accounts, custom development and third-party integrations require a separate scope and quotation.
