A pharmacist's route into digital healthcare, SEO, product, AI and automation.
I co-founded Simple Online Healthcare in 2015 and helped scale the business to over GBP 120m in annual revenue. Over the years, I held senior leadership roles including Chief Growth Officer and Chief Product Officer, with a focus on growth, digital strategy, product development, customer experience and operational efficiency.
After stepping back from Simple Online Healthcare in 2025, I took some time out for a break and to think about what I wanted to build next. It did not take long before I found myself pulled back into the things I have always been most interested in: SEO, AI, automation, web development and building better digital systems.
My work sits at the intersection of SEO, AI, automation, product thinking and operational efficiency. I enjoy taking complex business processes and turning them into practical digital systems that are easier to manage, easier to scale, and more useful for customers and teams.

Search strategy and technical SEO
SEO has been one of my biggest obsessions since 2010. I started by learning how to rank a local pharmacy in Aberdeen, then moved into highly competitive national and international healthcare search terms across the UK and Australia.
Competitive digital healthcare search
This included building SEO strategies for some of the most competitive treatment categories online, with strong rankings for terms around weight loss, hair loss, erectile dysfunction and other high-demand healthcare services.
Architecture, speed and conversion
My work in SEO goes beyond content. I focus heavily on technical SEO, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, page speed, conversion optimisation and scalable landing page systems.
Automation across the business
Today, I am especially focused on how AI can be used across every department of a business, from marketing and web development to customer success, operations, reporting, internal workflows and decision-making.
